Late October 2023 the Hope High School family lost one of its former students to mental health at the tender age of 16.

Leo completed his journey with Hope High school in the summer of 2023, leaving with all our best wishes and dreams for the future.

Waking up to the news that Leo was no longer with us, impacted his family, friends and school staff to a level that can't be described in words.

Hope High School want to celebrate his life and support others going through mental health difficulties, especially young people.

As a team, lead by Mrs Dunbavin a number of staff, families and friends ran and walked the Run Aintree event on the 21st of July in support of the charity Lancashire Mind and so far, we have raised a staggering £1155.00

It was an emotional day but enjoyed by all who took part and came to Aintree to support.
